A. One of the benefits of being the largest generic manufacturer in the U.S. and in the world is that Teva is able to offer you more generic prescription drugs than any other company. In fact, one out of every seven prescriptions in the U.S. (including brands and generics) is filled with a Teva product!1 In order to offer so many different medications and still maintain a high level of quality, we use approximately 20 different Teva facilities to manufacture our products. Nearly 60% of Teva-manufactured medications are made in North America, and nearly 30% are made in Israel by our parent company. We are proud of Teva's rich heritage of over 100 years of pharmaceutical excellence throughout the world. Every Teva prescription medication sold in the U.S. has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In addition, FDA must inspect and approve every facility (inside and outside of the U.S.) to ensure our products are of the highest quality standards.
